Michigan MIP Probation
It is frustrating in Michigan to have to deal with MIP cases. There is very little uniformity across the state as to punishment and each district court can have their own rules regarding procedure and the availability of probation and the diversion program.
Some courts will offer a non-reporting probation for 3 to 6 months while others can put you on probation for up to two years! It varies widely and an attorney can tell you about your specific court and how they handle probation.
